Had to make the first post on a virgin new board...
To the good ship Secular Cafe and all who sail on her. Here's looking to a bright future.
:)
YooHoo! I feel like sliding down the banisters!

Hi folks. I look forward to seeing the walls painted and furniture moved in here.
Loren, when will the secularcafe.org URL work?

It's working now for me.

Not for me yet. :( It must have a thing against Canadians. :p
ETA: Heh, it's cool pressing the refresh button on the index to watch the board take its shape. :)

The secularcafe.org URL still doesn't work for me. Any explanation for that, Loren?

Redshirt, seems like you're still having that DNS propagation problem; your ISP doesn't know where secularcafe.org now points to.

Oh well, I'll use the interim URL for now. Hopefully, the propagation problem will go away eventually.

Je vais ici!
The place smells of fresh wood and new paint, and sounds sort of echo-y. But I like it. :)
Je vais ici!
 I think you may mean "j'arrive!"

Ah well: Je suis arrivé aussi!

Je suis ici aussi, mon amies!
Je parle un peu française, mais je ne suis pas bilingue. Mes vocabulaire et grammaire ont mauvaises. J'habite en oeust Canada, c'est trop loin de Québec.
You can be our official mentor in Franglais. I am a natural speaker of Franglais, living as I do in a francophone place. I try when speaking French to avoid Franglais, but let it creep into my English when talking to people who understand French. So I say to my husband, "We need to get a few more lustres, but I think we have enough appliques now". In case you didn't know, we moved house in April and are very gradually furnishing the place. Funds are a bit short.
FWIW "j'arrive" means "I'm coming" and "je suis arrivé" (or in my case, since I'm female, "je suis arrivée") means I've got here.

W00t!
I love the header and the coffee cup graphic.
*sniiiiffffff* Ah, the smell of a nice, clean board with no trolls in residence.
*waves hi to everyone*
Hi, Notta!
Hope we can make this board a cool place to hang out. :)

Hi Pendaric! :)
It's only just over a month, but is this the first official necro? :D

There's a joke in here about deflowering virgin boards, I;m sure of it.
