View Full Version : Healthcare Professionals for Assisted Dying
As a 70yo I have long thought that I do not want to be obliged to wait for death to claim me if it takes too long or involves too much suffering. Now a terminally ill doctor is making the case for assisted dying and is gathering support from healthcare professionals.

I see the bigger danger as being artificially kept "alive" by unwanted medical intervention.

Especially here in the US, So much of it is money orientated and lawsuits than caring for the patient.
The old lady who is Daughter No2's neighbour just slowly is lapsing further and further in to the past. But she is happy there for there she finds her husband , now deceased, whom she loved very much. Every day the district nurses come around and one day I hope they won't have to for she will have passed to wherever her husband is.
