On the front it has a guy holding a hand lettered on a piece of box cardboard "John 3:16" and the word "cliche' " on the card next to the pic.
On the back, it says
"Nothing's more cliche' than going to church on Easter, let alone the message of Easter. "For god so loved the world..." can feel overused and commonplace.
And yet, each year, people are drawn to hear about a man on a cross and a miraculous morning.
Could it be that truth is at the heart of every cliche? Could this be your time to rediscover the extraordinary that has been lost in the familiar?"
And they list the times for their 4 Easter services.
What I wanna know is why did a church miles away from me, that I have never attended or donated to, send a postcard specifically to me by name? How on earth did they get my name?
Are churches that hard up for members that they have to troll phone books or whatever they do just to fill pews?
