I have been registered here quite a while but have posted only once. I post some over at TR. I started posting many years ago on Finley's old website, participated at IIDb and many other message boards. From lurking around a bit, I perceive this place may have some cross posting of the better posters from TR along with a more mature theme and perhaps a core of posters above college aged. Am I getting that wrong? If so with your indulgence I may start posting here.

We do try to keep a place for lighthearted, humorous, and silly exchanges, but those of us who started the Cafe want to provide a venue for more serious and intellectual discussions, in the main. So I'd agree that it's reasonable to call us more mature. I think the average age here is probably in the late thirties or early forties.
