Thanks for mentioning this, I'll have my son check and see if there's anything he's been wanting on sale.

Hey, nerds rule, don't knock it. I think I'm more of a geek than a nerd, but wouldn't be ashamed to be called either :D

They've also got some free-to-play MMOs. One of which being Champions: Free-For-All. The character generation is streamlined, but it looks like it might be the full game.

Dreamfall and Amnesia are both great if you love adventure games. Well, and of course Monkey Island, but who didn't know that? ;)

I'm more into the fps games, but I might check out the amnesia title. The suspense might be quite interesting.
Meanwhile, I'll be relieving newbs of their dog tags in BFBC2

I wouldn't buy anything from Steam as they are known for using draconian DRM. I only buy games that use disk based DRM and especially support companies that use no DRM at all. In fact, the only thing I would NEVER pirate is a game that uses no DRM whatsoever.

During that sale I bought:
The Witcher 2
Mass Effect 1 & 2
:D
If you consider logging into Steam to be DRM... but honestly, *looks at calendar to verify the year*, people still purchase based on how the company protects their copyright? Steam is hella convenient. No CD clutter, just a list of games you can download at will. Can share your achievements with friends, chat with friends while playing, etc. Best of all, good games for low prices (sometimes). That's all I care about, really. DRM is only an issue if it negatively effects your gameplay and/or PC.
