Just came across this on TV yesterday

- I must have missed it the first time it was on but I'm glad I caught it the second. This is a great series - in the vein of some of those Palin programmes I suppose but I rather prefer this, the presenter Monty Don is very likeable and full of passion for the gardens and the people and cultures they are part of (I loved the one he did in Cuba).

anyone been there? What a marvelous work of art!! Reminds me a bit of Gaudi's architecture. The story of its creation is just incredible. Such genius!

I bought the DVD boxed set - this is just the best gardening documentary series I've seen - it uses the garden as a means to explore a whole culture.
