I have not been appointed to a welcoming committee, but I see Styrofoam Deity made a safe landing. Known as Pope John Pol Pot II here.
People will remember him as clinically disturbed for being a triathalon nut and publisher in Japan. Usually marathoner/triathletes are not bodybuilder type frames but this guy forgot to read the rule book.
- I'm just living a new chapter in the book buddy, training the Filiina unit in mountain girl skills.
Let me guess - you are running across russia and then swimming the atlantic, biking across the country to make it to the boston marathon?

Thanks rlogan! I took almost a full year off from posting in order to train more/ work more, and to decompress.
No swimming across the Atlantic for me, but I am entered into the TransRockies Marathon in August, which is a six day run across the Rockies. Just knocked off a 50 mile race in Sonoma California as well. These days I am entering few triathlons, but a LOT of ultra marathons, mainly in the mountains.
I really like the feel of this board, and plan to stick around and post when I can. Lots of people I have the deepest respect for are already here...
Welcome from me, too!

Hey Styro Pope John Pol Pot II 久しぶりね!
Glad to see you here at SC, I think you'll like it.
You'll note that my location has changed, I'm no longer in Tokyo, I left about 7 months ago, I really miss it sometimes. But I'll be back often, I hope!
Anyway, I look forward to reading your posts.

Hiya, Pope John Paul George Ringo. :)
We reformed in 1975 as John Pol George Ringo & Duch. Kind of like Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, but considerably more genocidal.

Genocide Rock is an under-appreciated genre.
