Splendid! We have our little spats, now and again, as people do from time to time, but generally we are a friendly bunch. With, between us, a lot of expertise and experience.

Find something you are interested in, or post an interesting OP, but one way or another, dive in.

Cheers David. I think there is an ideal size for a forum community as there is for anything else and I hope to offer something with my posts even if I'm no expert.

hmmm ok. I'm a 43 YO Scot still in Scotland, which probably qualifies me as weird from the off. My innate passions in life are and always have been the wonder of biological life, the wonder of a suitably chemically-complex universe in which biological life can marvel at and appreciate it's own existence, and freethinking.

I equate comedic ability and wit with intelligence and have always savoured both.

I like being thoroughly generous and nice with people who appreciate and reciprocate such aspirational behaviour.

I'm drinking pear cider.
