Hi all,
Hi especially maxparrish and muidiri.
Over at FRDB you know me as Jason Harvestdancer. After receiving a PM from maxparrish and seeing a thread "Hi I'm conservative" I when I saw people saying "yep that's right" instead of "that's a stupid strawman" I figured that board was decaying.

Heya, Ayn. Welcome to the Cafe!
I adore your new username. I love clever ones like that. Reminds me of my old favorite: Godfrey N Glad (whose owner is around here under a new name).

Hey Jason,
I've tried to do a little poaching here and there. You will find the informal areas to be very conversational. Unlike FR, I find myself hanging out in these areas much more often. Guess it is all the nice people.

Welcome! This is my fave forum. Not as many trolls here as TR.

I always liked 'Chuck Fristians', myself. :D
Welcome, Ayn. We've tried to make the Cafe as much like II circa 2003 as is possible, considering it's 2012...
Welcome Ayn! We have reds and conservatives here. We're not picky about that.

Actually, Bree, it was/is 'godfry n. glad'...No caps. He asserted that it should be read as a declarative statement and it was not just God of which he was free, but all gods. He inadvertantly omitted the 'e' in 'godfry' creating the name, but the construction is not entirely unknown, just rare, and he has since found that it's easier to Google without the 'e'.
I am he.
I am also 'Wholly Goats' on yet another list, with the sig line "Now, new and improved with fodder and sun!" It's "undeniable". LOL.
Thanks for the mention and welcome, Ayn.
