I wasn't sure whether to put this here or under games. Have any of y'all ever messed with Gene Pool?

I play with it from time to time and there are a couple of my swimbots on the website.

Oh yeah, I haven't in years, but I used to set that going, and head off to work and see what had become after about 10 hours. Fun stuff.

Some neat things are to put lots of convoluted barriers in and see what reproductive isolation can do. :D

He took the barriers out of this version but it's still fun. I get a kick out of finding one fairly successful swimbot, copying it and then putting in several of the kind into an empty pool. I've gotten some rather incredible critters by doing that.

On the other hand, I've also had critters completely die out in a couple of hours.
