Does anyone go to or participate in local theatre?

We went to see a local production of The Taming of the Shrew last night, performed outside. It was really good.

Next week the same troupe does The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

At the end of 2007 I was in a community theater production of The Madwoman of Chaillot. I was 'The Banker' - one of the bad guys :). Huge amount of fun, if I ever have time I'll have another go.

Have just finished writing a play. Does that count? It'll be handed in as part of my Masters degree... on Giordano Bruno the night before he was burned at the stake.

Have no clue as to how to go about getting it performed, though. Just as long as I don't have to get on stage!
