This evening I went to a big community gathering. I came home from work to change into shorts, tennis shoes, and a tee shirt. This was an outdoor sort of dancing drinking eating thing. I was torn about which teeshirt to wear.
My top two choices were: the one with Stonehenge lit from behind by a big bonfire, the superscript was "Give Me That Old Time Religion"
and a black shirt with a skeleton striding out from a doorway. The superscript was "It sure feels good to get out of the closet".
I went with the "Old Time Religion" shirt, for this evening.
What is your favorite tee shirt message, and why did you wear it where you did?

I only own one tee shirt that has anything on it, and that's one I got at a blues festival 3 weeks ago. Never was big on the tee shirt message. However, I did own one about 5 years ago that had Count Chocula on it. It was cool, because...well...It had Count Chocula on it.

I've never worn shirts with sayings on them other than different Dead tiedyes and I still have a dancing bear one but it has no words. I also have a tiedye with a peanut with wings screened onto it but we only made a few hundred of those for some homeless people.

My favorite was a t-shirt I had depicting two buzzards sitting on dead tree in the desert with the caption, "Patience my ass. I'm gonna kill something."
A friend of mine had a t-shirt showing a mouse flipping off a swooping eagle. The caption was, "The last great act of defiance."
Not a t-shirt, but my father had a bumper sticker that said, "If you love something, set if free. If it comes back, it was yours. If it doesn't, hunt it down and kill it."

I have always wanted to make a t-shirt with Elvis on the cross on the front that says Elvis died for your sins and on back Jesus leaving out an exit door with Jesus has left the building. Don't know why, just like the idea. Have no idea how to put that together though.
I had a Dr. Domento and Mr. Bubble shirt I used to love to wear.

When I was a teenager (this is eons ago) the PBS in Dallas gave away "Monty Python is a Twit" tee-shirts during their pledge drive. I tried and tried to get my parents to pledge just so I could get the tee shirt, finally my Dad pledged but instead of getting me the Monty Python tee shirt, he got some Sesame Street item for my little sister.
(I strongly suspect that it is why I hate Elmo.)

You are really going to be disappointed in the "Burqhas VS bikinis, nude models; oh my!" thread.
