Though I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be "uneducated lout."
Only the creationists seem to react to Eric as if he was The Incredibe Thug...

Not to mention: about, doubt, flout, out, pout, rout, shout, spout, stout, scout, snout, sprout, tout, trout, and avout*!
Though most of these don't work quite as well in combination with "uneducated" as "lout" does.
Which probably won't deter some crea-IDiots from referring to Eric as "that uneducated trout," with his "uneducated pout," who touts nothing but "uneducated doubt," all the while tipping up his "uneducated snout," whilst knocking back his "uneducated stout."
But Eric, ever undettered, will (no doubt) put them all to rout, without ever raising his voice to a shout...

Oh dear, Eric. I'm sorry I called you a thug rather than a lout. I must try to remember that you are a lout, not a thug...
...lout, not thug...lout, not thug...lout, not thug...lout, not thug

Finally made it! I had gotten on the train, briefcase in hand, when the doors shut, with me on one side of the door and my briefcase (and than end of my arm) on the other side. I struggled furiously, but couldn't get my hand back until I'd gone six stops past my destination. Then I had to get back on the train heading in the other direction (being very careful about hand/briefcase positioning), and now I'm here!
Thanks for saving my seat in the meantime.

Actually, I've been thinking of going by "drunken reprobate" from now on.
Glad the train problem got fixed.

Well, for 'drunken' You've got the obvious, 'shrunken' or 'sunken'. Reprobate, if it needs to be 3 syllables is a little tougher. There's a few good ones in here but it's not open and shut like the first word. :)

It took me a while to find any that weren't on BWE's list, but I think both "boilerplate" and "calibrate" would be especially useful in Eric-oriented doggerel.

It's true that most responses to creationist claims can be made with boilerplate (remember the "Dave vs. Dave" posts refuting Mr. Hawkins' claims that evolutionary theory makes no falsifiable predictions?). And we all know where discussions involving calibration lead...

EricMurphy, I've been a fan of yours forever, and without being creepy, I've followed you for years. When are you going to get an illustrator and publish some books? You are a natural writer. Start with kiddy stories: Goodnight Creo might be a good start...
