I was watching Beneath the Planet of the Apes and I was thinking of the morality of Taylor in pulling the crystal button that would make the cobalt bomb go off.

Sure, he had just got shot by Ursus's soldiers and Dr. Zaius was going to be of no help, but wasn't it selfish of Taylor to kill everyone on the entire planet just because he was going to die? What about the two apes that were his friends in the previous movie? What if there had still been sentient humans on another part of the planet not like the ones he ran into in the movie?

What do all of you think?

Man, I have had too much free time. Too much monkey business going on with BH.

Oh, it's perfectly OK to kill everybody else if one is just going to die anyway.

(Just kidding -- killing other people, including apes, makes no sense.)

But we are all going to die one day Ray. I hope you don't have a cobalt bomb and get attacked by a bunch of chimps.:p:rolleyes:
