Is it just that I'm built weirdly or do the makers of women's pants assume we all have hips and butts that are much wider than our thighs and stomachs? I'm supposed to be happy that I'm "slim hipped" but women's jeans never fit right. I must be short-waisted too. There's all of this extra material and medium rise jeans end up under my chest with a big pouch. Low-rise ones that fit across the hips are still up to my waist like mom jeans and then are loose there too. They're almost always too short. The only jeans that fit me perfectly are regular men's Levis. I'm 49 years old and I just bought a pair of jeans in the juniors' department because what is a low enough rise for their underwear to hang out of on them is just right on me. They're only a little too big in the stomach. I'm not even skinny so this is really annoying.

It is not just you, Christina. I have the opposite problem in that I need long sizes but the ass is never big enough. I have booty. I think the workers in Asia do not.

When I take basic measurements everything is in proportion, but I think that maybe more height than expected is in my leg length and less is in the rest. I'm happy with these ones. They're non-stretch dark Levis without any decorations on the pockets and long enough that I can wear heels with them and they were half off. Joe liked them and he would tell me the truth if he didn't. He's one of the few men on the planet that will tell you the truth if you ask him if your ass looks fat in those jeans. We have an agreement. He tells the truth, I don't hit him or cry.

I got lucky and found a pair of Levis at Ross a couple of weeks ago. It was exactly like the pair I had as a teenager that I wore until there were holes in the ass. (Then, I just wore a longer shirt, LOL!) Anyway, they are the perfect color, long in the legs, and fit my ass.

When you have an ass the size of a continent (like mine) if it's not stretchy material, forget it!!
Is it just me, or is beige the worst damn colour on the planet?!?! (I loathe it, srly, don't even like touching it!!)

I think that is just you. I like beige. :D
Is it just me or are white pants the worst mistake you ever made in clothing? Lined or unlined, your underwear or ass always shows.

Yeah, unless you're wearing a tunic, white pants are not kind to most asses and even white panties show against your skin color. I don't mind some beige but a full outfit of it is just boring. I do have an off-white linen sheath dress with a matching coat over it but it's not quite beige.
Lisa, I love Ross. 99% of what they have is cheap ugly crap, but every now and then I find amazing deals there. I've gotten silk designer dresses for less than a third of the original price, Calvin Klein jeans for a pittance, and endless tops to balance out the ridiculously expensive work clothes that I used to buy. I can scan down the racks looking for natural fibers in colors I like in moments. Most of the time I don't get anything, but those once in a while finds make it worth digging through the polyester and other junk they sell.
