New Humanist (a splendid magazine) came out with these a little while ago:

http://newhumanist.org.uk/1915

The latest edition of the mag has a further 12: Mormon, Sikh, Pagan, Methodist, Jain, Jedi, Satanist, Eastern Orthodox, Bahai, Rastafarian, Sunni and Shia. I can't find them on the website at the moment, but no doubt they'll be up withing a month or two. They also promise that they're going to produce a card pack (simple playing rules).

I can't find the controversy... but here's a tidbit...

I'm pretty sure there was a tempest over some people temporarily modifying a giant... But I can't find it...

Those cards are funny! The Islam card about caused a diet coke eruption here as did the Atheist and Agnostic cards.

The (Cerne Abbas Chalk Giant) problem was that they used permanent pigment paint. Just recently they had to dig out all the old chalk and bring in tons more to restore it. (Volunteers restore historic giant of Cerne Abbas to his former glory (http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/2008/sep/16/heritage.ruralaffairs))

Giant daubed by 'vigilante' (http://www.thisisdorset.net/news/1645001.giant_daubed_by_vigilante/)

RESIDENTS living close to the Cerne Abbas Giant are angry with campaigners after the famous landmark was vandalised.

A man from the Fathers 4 Justice group, which campaigns against family law favouring mothers, is thought to be behind the 40ft penis on the National Trust site being painted purple.

The landmark was targeted overnight between Friday and Saturday by someone describing himself as the Westcountry's 'Purple Phantom'.

Cerne Abbas Parish Council chairman Peter Smith said: "This is particularly irritating because it has happened inside the enclosure that protects the giant.

"The land there is sacrosanct because it is a special site.

Also, a really good picture with the purple penis here ... http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?in_article_id=64166&in_page_id=34

Then of course, there's the Homer stunt ...

Pagans have a cow over Homer (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article246377.ece)

PAGANS have pledged to perform “rain magic” to wash away cartoon character Homer Simpson who was painted next to their famous fertility symbol - the Cerne Abbas giant.

The 17th century chalk outline of the naked, sexually aroused, club-wielding giant is believed by many to be a symbol of ancient spirituality.

Many couples also believe the 180ft giant, which is carved in the hillside above Cerne Abbas, Dorset, is an aid to fertility.

A giant 180ft Homer Simpson brandishing a doughnut was painted next to the well-endowed figure today in a publicity stunt to promote The Simpsons Movie released later this month.

It has been painted with water-based biodegradable paint which will wash away as soon as it rains.

Ann Bryn-Evans, joint Wessex district manager for The Pagan Federation, said: “It’s very disrespectful and not at all aesthetically pleasing.

Ooh, ooh, look at the pagans get offended! LOL! How many points is that?

The Simpsons one is funny, but I can't get behind the purple paint. If it had also been washable paint that would disappear with the first rain, I might just laugh, but vandalism is not right.

Do you mean a giant painting of a dildo using the abbey as the canvas, or a giant dildo that was brought into WA and painted there?

I'm sure he does. I always thought he was full of hot air. Now we know it's actually methane.
