Some good ones.

Favorite song is tough. There are plenty of songs that come out that I love and play over and over until I am sick of them. There are also songs out there that I really enjoy like Freebird but they are exhausting to listen to so I don't very often. But there are a handful of songs that, while I don't listen to on a regular basis, when they come on I stop what I am doing and just enjoy the song. here are two songs that are what I call "haunting". They make me want to shut off all my toher senses and just feel the song. Both songs have been sung by various artists and I enjoy most of them. It is the song that I enjoy more than the artist in these cases.

:)I think that 'favourite' songs depends not totally on the song but what it means to us as in when did we first hear it and was that time a time that that song just kicked in to the need in us to express what we were going through.IMHO anyway. My favourite song , and I break up becos of said opinion, is 'Drive' by The Cars. I sat in my expensive car and howled and howled becos when I heard that song , I KNEW in a way I hadn't known for sure that I was going to leave my marriage. And years later I still tear up. Pink Floyd's 'Wish you were here' is the iconic song for our family , esp. my son..."2 Lost Souls Living in a Glass bowl, Year after Year' and he is a muso and has been all but killed by kidney failure out of the blue...So it's a sad and potent song for my girls and me
