:p In OZ, we make a joke of anyone coming from or living in TASMANIA (it's an island off the cost south of Melbourne). We jerk their chains re intelligence and hillbilly slurs are common. But my brother lives there and is no intellectual idiot. However, for Xmas he sent me a card which of course arrived late... So Tasmanian that! But the bit that made me really laugh was that the card had one of those 'chips' in it that play a tune. I will never know what that tune is he had been carting it around for so long before posting that it was DEAD and I'll never know. One good thing about Xmas this year, sorry, last year is that the supermarkets didn't play Bing Crosby mournfully intoning "White Xmas"
