Hi my name is Gazza and im a blogger/debater/published writer/film maker from ireland. I have always signed when contemplating the seemly lact of syphistication of modern society which is partially the reason i became a debater to discuss the issues that others wont and as such i decided to come here for some interlectual conversation. I enjoy sailing, windsurfing, reading particularly science fiction, fantasy and the works of agatha christie and i am a frequent player of video games such as the final fantasy series, fallout and the ace attorney games. I play flute, guitar and piano and love jazz blues rock and most other kinds of music except dance a rap which i cant stand. Im a big fan of classic british comedy such as Blackadder, yes minister, fawlty towers and allo allo. I also have a youtube channel in which i post videos to try and get some interlectual conversation going on that front. The channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/GazzaPrimeTV feel free to check it out and if you like it by all means subscribe!

Hi, LG:)

Please join in the discussion. There's quite a lot of threads about Ireland here, especially in light of the Murphy and Ryan reports.

Welcome, Lord-Gazza. How did you find us? Do you come from the Count Me Out (http://www.countmeout.ie/) website?

In any case, I think you'll enjoy SC. We have a large British/European/international membership, as well as plenty of us from the US and Canada. We're a bit small still, but growing steadily.
