View Full Version : Informal Discussion on Problem of Evil and Miracles
Would anyone like to take up the theistic position of the PoE and miracles? (They are related, that's why I want to do both)
This is meant to be a relaxed discussion, like on the forum, but just the two of us with no derails...

Perhaps we could get punkforchrist to come back here at some point.

Are you a member at The Son's Cafe (http://www.thesonscafe.com/index.php), where some of the CF Refugees hang out? You might post there about this.
I am, but that board is dead.

They seem to all be huddled in their 'Refuge' forum- I just posted in it last night.
I do sorta wish that board was more active; their overall philosophy seems less poisonous that any other religious board I've seen. Although some of the regulars there, like Texas Lynn, aren't the sort I prefer to share board space with...
And Outbound/Lemonz. OMFG.

I think they may have booted Lemonz out of the Refuge. Shows their good sense...
Why do you think the PoE and miracles are related to such an extent that something worthwhile is debatable about them? what is the theistic position regarding miracles?
I said informal discussion, not formal debate....also, I'm not even going to bring up a load of links now when these things can be googled ;)
Finally, I now withdraw this discussion proposal since it's been around unanswered for so long and I'm no longer hoping for sensible response.

Since this is Bane's thread and OP and she withdrew her proposal, I will therefore close this thread. I have moved the discussion (http://secularcafe.org/showthread.php?t=5164) between sms and Angra Mainyu to the Philosophy & Morality forum.
