Sorry but this shit just constitutes nothing but outright fucking slander. And since PP got named specifically, they should take up a lawsuit on sheer principle to put these idiotically irresponsible loose-lipped fucks in their place.“Abortion is blood sacrifice of innocent blood to the devil. The clinics are like temples, the doctors are like priests, the medical table is like their altar. It’s a ritualized sacrifice. They have a dogma called choice, a hierarchy called Planned Parenthood, and guardian angels in the form of police guards that will arrest you if you try to stop them.”
:bang:

The article later gets into the usual stupid mindfuckery about deeeeemons lurking in your kids' novels and CDs and that exotic little "native art" looking thingummy you bought at the tourist trap in Tahiti in 1994. ARGH. But the crap about abortion went REALLY over the top.

They have a dogma called choice

As opposed to the dogma of religion, which is you have no choice; do what we tell you.

“Most people with demonic problems have opened a door somewhere,” said Fr. Euteneuer. He cited the popularity of the occult in bringing people closer to demonic interaction, primarily through the growth of the New Age movement and other paraphernalia. He said that even Hasbro markets Ouija boards to children.

“I’m very set against Harry Potter,” he said. “It’s pumping into our children’s minds the language and imagery of the occult. It’s extremely spiritually dangerous.”

He also called attention to a growing fascination with the cult of the vampire, especially through the popularity of books and movies like Twilight, where the main character falls in love with a vampire.

“I predict that in the next 10 years or so, we’ll see an explosion of occult activity,” said Fr. Euteneuer. “The number of soft-core occultism in the form of things like Harry Potter, Wicca and the New Age is on the increase. These are the gateways to the hardcore stuff. Ask any inner-city police department if they’re seeing evidence of Satanism. They’re organizing whole task forces to deal with crimes having to do with these things. As society becomes more faithless, this wickedness comes and fills the vacuum.”(emphasis and bolding mine)

Man ... I know a bunch about all that. Anyone know where these task forces are recruiting? I mean, if it's that serious, there must be good money in it ...

Anyone?

What idiots. Planned Parenthood doesn't even provide abortions.

I see he broadcasts from Trenton, NJ. More evidence that all the nutjobs aren't in the South. :D

I don't mind the music coming back, and I'll (barely) tolerate the re-emergence of the fashion "sense," but I'll be damned if I put up with another round of Satanic Panic a la the 1980s.

No argument here! Completely agree.

Most "exorcists" seem to be con-artists. Even in the realm of belief, it means, there do not seem to be any with any type of authenticity whatsoever. That particular "field" (so to speak) -- which at the very least ought to be dabbled in by gentle and compassionate counselor types who recognize the potential of some very raw, volatile and traumatic human reactions at the very least -- seems to attract some of the most arrogant, invasive, hurtful and abusive personalities you could imagine. The very rottenest apples in the barrel of rotten apples, even.

No wonder genuinely possessed people have been fleeing the corridors of religion and false hope of rescue and entering the intellectual cathedrals of atheism in droves!!! OK, well, maybe not in droves. But still. :o Would rather listen to the productive insights and "guidance" of someone thinking it to be insane who genuinely gave a crap about its well being than to the rantings and incoherent babblings of wannabe "exorcists" who just see you as a fucking notch in their Bible and a fast track to notoriety among their equally babbling and incoherent peers who all believe some sadistic form of "its all your fault somehow anyway"-ism to begin with.

At least those who go for the mental illness framework/paradigm recognize the matter as one beyond your control and don't try to angle after pinning blame on the sufferer. A REAL exorcist (we imagine) would do likewise, if any existed. They don't.

BUT this has nothing to do with the ludicrousness involved in equating abortion with some sort of SooperSekrit Satanic Ritual -- so back on topic now. :)

Catholic nutjobs seem to enjoy infecting places like NY and the armpits of NJ.
Why? No idea. :dunno:

I had to attend some of those as a counselor for troubled kids. According to our local police, we had an epidemic of satan-worshippers in our schools. One of my students built an 'altar' in his locker (it was a couple of anarchy signs and a candle - yeesh!) and the police were called in. Even then, I knew it was a bunch of crap.

Next it will be incubi and succubi, come to feast on our souls.....

That's funny, I was just reading an LJ entry on Mormon influences/overtones in the Twilight books. (http://stoney321.livejournal.com/317176.html)

Oh bloody hell. It used to be drugs ... you know, if the teenager does this, that, blah blah blah, listens to X music has Y kind of friends, does A, B, C, Q and Z, then he MUST be secretly doing drugs.

And do you know, after they got off the drug obsession and into the Satanism obsession the fucking "warning signs" wound up being exactly the SAME SHIT ...

Next it will be incubi and succubi, come to feast on our souls.....

But They do. It feels awesome, too.
