Fascism In the US

I know I am late to this, but would you guys say that the United States of America has reached fascism? I know this is a place for critical and rational thinking but I would appreciate your thoughts and answers in response to this thread.


Let us examine the fourteen warning signs of Fascism

1. Powerful and continuing nationalism
2. Disdain for human rights
3. Identifying Enemies/Scapegoats as a unifying cause
4. Supremacy of the military
5. Rampant Sexism
6. Controlled Mass Media
7. Obsession with national security
8. Religion and Government are intertwined
9. Corporate power is protected
10. Labor power is suppressed
11. Disdain for intellectuals and the arts
12. Obsession with crime and punishment
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
14. Fraudulent Elections


Notice any of these signs people????


For those of you who don't know, fascism is a form of totalitarianism to the right If I am not mistaken.

A few things that have lead me to believe that the US has headed towards fascism were: The Patriot Act, Iraq and Afghanistan War, Guantanamo bay, Bailouts, Fox news and it's bias, fierce patriotism demanded, Constant fear of iran nuking the US, Abuse of police power, manipulated elections, Intellectual hostility, Amendments being undermined...

What is your view?

I haven't checked the link, but I am not talking about hitler type fascism. I am talking about a lesser known fascism in America is the merging of corporations with government and military for national interests.

but I know what fascism is because I've done research on it.
