Not to be all personal but I'm one of the 6000 LA teachers laid off (but probably to be rehired coz they don't fire science teachers.) Any of you need a lab tech?

It's just normal practice in education I hate to say (though 6000 teachers is a lot to lay off!) I'm pretty used to getting laid off every year, then having the layoff notice rescinded before the summer's out. It's really annoying.
