Apparently it violates MSNBC's policy of not running advertisements that call out a particular company.
I think I'd support such a policy; OTOH, if it's such a big deal, I guess I'd like to see a news report on MSNBC and the fact that that story doesn't mention that makes me suspicious. Has anyone been watching Keith and/or Rachel the last few days? Has either of them mentioned it?
Personally, BTW, I have never shopped at Target due to their donations to anti-abortion campaigns. Ever. Like, since they first opened.

I'd support the policy if they also had a policy against running ads in favor of a particular company. :P

i find American advertising hilarious**. not only are "hey, we're cunts but these guys are worse" ads perfectly normal, but there is zero onus to put anything approaching fact in there. Zero.
the only thing more sadly hilarious than such US ads are comparable US election campaigns where nothing is said about your candidate or what he stands for, just completely slagging off the other guy and saying "hey, at least i'm not him/her ".
Still, it won Obama the presidency i guess.
** in a "primary reason i dont have TV" kind of way.

you need a link to show you that the main reason lots of people voted for Obama was because he wasnt Bush?
eta, actually that was quite ambiguous. my bad.

No, actually I need one to show that he advertised saying so.
I'm guessing you won't have that. Yes, it was quite ambiguous. That's OK, everybody does it and not everybody 'fesses up when they do.

Matty dear, Bush didn't run against Obama.
I voted for him because I trust liberals more than republicunts.

No, really, Matty, I think you're wrong. We already had an election for Bush vs. ABB*. Bush won. Obama was better than Bush, and in fact has been.
*AKA Anybody But Bush, AKA Mr. Heinz Catsup. Who would have been OK except he got Swift Boated and expended one famous newscaster.

Sorry, don't see Bush mentioned there. Allow me to quote:
US election campaigns where nothing is said about your candidate or what he stands for, just completely slagging off the other guy and saying "hey, at least i'm not him/her ".
Still, it won Obama the presidency i guess. Please show the ad campaign that says nothing about him or what he stands for. Thanks.
