I've never seen scrapple, so...scrapple.
From Wikipedia:
"Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, heart, liver, and other scraps, which are boiled with any bones attached (often the entire head), to make a broth. Once cooked, bones and fat are discarded, the meat is reserved, and (dry) cornmeal is boiled in the broth to make a mush. The meat, finely minced, is returned, and seasonings, typically sage, thyme, savory, and others are added. The mush is cast into loaves and allowed to cool thoroughly until gelled. The proportions and seasoning are very much a matter of the region and the cook's taste."

I googled it, and it looks like Lotus is a brand name, not a variety of rice. In Australia, they distribute Basmati, Jasmine and an unnamed variety of long grain rice, in both white and brown.
So, err, I'll take Basmati.

This is heresy, sacrilege, blasphemy. Off with her head!!!:)
Vodka, straight, "knocked back" NOT sipped, followed by soused (salted) herring on black bread, followed by vodka, followed by more herring, followed by vodka, followed by... well, you get the idea. Unless of course you can afford and can find, caviar on bliny +/- sour cream &/or butter instead of the poor bloody herring. Even vodka in a Bloody Mary is a bad choice Use Tequila & call it a Bloody Maria.)
Edit I have found German red or black lumpfish "caviar" over Philadelphia cream cheese a pleasant cheap substitute for the real thing, which is unobtainable where I live. And if all the salty stuff makes you thirsty, drink beer as a chaser. All the fat in the zakuski will keep you sober & your stomach uninflamed for quite some time. :D
