View Full Version : Doodling
:)is fun. I think everybody scribbles or draws or doodles on the margins of paper. And they are both revealing and often good.

In my case, they aren't good. All I can do is draw flies. Usually I draw a blank, though.
I have a great deal of trouble drawing attention.

I used to when I was in school and on the desk calendar when bored at work.

Well, is scribbling (http://www.zefrank.com/scribbler/) like doodling?
Same thing really. I love the look of a well doodled on page or folio cover. It's honest, spontaneous art.
If you doodle on MS-paint, you could post the pic here :)

I am a bit of a neat freak. I don't like doodling because it spoils the pristine lines, blank white spaces and tight structured handwriting on the page.
It can also unconsciously and maybe sub- consciously add to the meaning of what is written.
Can't resist adding this FUBG... I loved a saying when i was at school that went "If they give you ruled paper... write between the lines" Try it. It might free you up no end!
