:)is fun. I think everybody scribbles or draws or doodles on the margins of paper. And they are both revealing and often good.

In my case, they aren't good. All I can do is draw flies. Usually I draw a blank, though.

I have a great deal of trouble drawing attention.

I doodle a lot it occupies parts of my brain whilst I am thinking about important things.

Same thing really. I love the look of a well doodled on page or folio cover. It's honest, spontaneous art.

I am a bit of a neat freak. I don't like doodling because it spoils the pristine lines, blank white spaces and tight structured handwriting on the page.

It can also unconsciously and maybe sub- consciously add to the meaning of what is written.
Can't resist adding this FUBG... I loved a saying when i was at school that went "If they give you ruled paper... write between the lines" Try it. It might free you up no end!
