Hello all,

Thanks for the invite. I've been having a good look around and I've gotta say I LIKE IT!

I like the name, I like the layout, I like the fact that there is already a Mornington Crescent thread, once someone starts a Pratchett thread I'll feel right at home.

As well, I read though the Mission Statement, Board Management Philosophy & FAQ and the Forum Users’ Agreement and it looks like those who started this board have put some serious thought into what a good board should be. Excellent.

However I do have one nit-pick, under "Secular Café FAQ" It says:

What do you mean by a "jerk"?

A jerk is generally someone who is unduly abusive or disruptive to members and staff. We believe that most reasonable people can understand what a "jerk" or "harassment" is without getting into legalism and specific definitions or rules.

I think you could really simplify this by saying "If you can't figure out what a 'jerk' is you probably are one!" ;) Just kidding.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :) We can't guarantee that we won't make mistakes and bad judgment once in a while, but we share similar attitudes on board management philosophy, a good team ethic and have good experience. The drama llama will hopefully find it extremely hard to find gaps in its corral fence here. :)
