:DHelps. Look at 'the 5 sec Movie'. Soo funny. Or the 'special' shower curtains with big knives aka Hitchcock's "Psycho".

What's the '5 sec movie'? Is this something to do with a game or hobby?
I thought perhaps you were starting a thread on trivia, like the useless knowledge that fills my brain.

okay lets hijack the nonsensical OP and go with a trivia game.

Rules. Post a question or two , first one to get it right gets to post the next.

starters for ten. done this one once at iidb iirc, but go with.

Q1: what specific link is there between Uma Thurman and Winona Ryder? (other than "Matty would quite like to shag both of them")

Q2: what does a male barnacle have to be so fucking smug about?

And since I knew it, even though SS got there first, I have a great bit of cricket trivia. Pretty ungettable, though.

Who was the first person to bowl a televised hat trick at the Oval cricket ground?

David

no to the guesses on the Uma and Winona, much as i liked this one
Has Uma been arrested for shoplifting?

its something a bit "huh well i never" than that

both are god daughters of LSD guru Timothy Leary

Huge penis?

(There's no hiding the Essex girl in me, is there?)
and yes, the barnacle has the largest penis of the animal kingdom in relation to its body size.

the smallest is Wayne who works at the Romford Blockbuster and drives the white XR3i with the body kit and ground effects ;)

Silly Sausage
04 Nov 2010, 06:35 PM
Damn, Wayne's got a job? He's moved up in the world, lol.

So as neither of us for the Uma/Winona thing, who gets to post the next questions? I'm gonna try and work out David B's question now....

Matty
04 Nov 2010, 06:50 PM
i reckon you get to post the next for the barnacle thing because you were first and because i know fuck all about cricket.

As a titter, I've had reasonably good reviews. It's the tongue that does it:D

I do love a good double entendre, does anyone else want to give me one? (Ok, poor attempt, I know :p )

Ok, I'll think up some useless trivia question and be back after a cuppa...

I'll have you know that I've understood every bit of it, except that I don't know what it means "to bowl a televised hat trick".

OK

'Televised' means on television.

A hat trick means taking three wickets in three balls. The equivalent would be something like a pitcher getting three outs with three successive pitches. And the Oval would be the equivalent of where the Yankees play baseball.

I'm still stumped by your question David, plus I fell asleep before posing a question of my own. Can ya give us a clue?

My grandson did 'The Lighthouse Dance' for us and it's a scream. You just turn around and open you mouth for a big round '0' when you face your audience.

Since no-one (rather predictably) has guessed my cricket poser, I will tell you that some decades ago a charity celebrity cricket match was televised from the oval, in which a bowler took a hat trick, the first one televised from the Oval.

The bowler in question was Bill Wyman, who older members may remember as a member of a band called the Rolling Stones.

Wooden piano benches and big empty basements make for truly epic farts.

Silly Sausage

Dammit, I found the story saying that Bill Wyman had bowled the first televised hat-trick and thought it was a piss-take article because of the style it was written in so I ignored it.
Anymore tasty titbits David B? Admittedly I forgot about this thread and didn't think anything up. :o

what was the occasion of setting off the most expensive pyrotechnic firework of all time?

Jobar
11 Nov 2010, 02:47 PM
Dubai’s 2007/2008 New Year’s fireworks display.

Matty
11 Nov 2010, 02:56 PM
that was the most expensive display ever fo sho however if the discovery channel is to be believed (and why wouldnt it ;) ) the million dollar single firework set off at Sinatras retirement gig in 71 was (taking inflation into account) the most expensive single one ever exploded (and not including the space shuttle challenger of course)

good nuff. your turn.

My stuffed elephant and her baby strapped in to the back seat has to be trivia... people don't understand but she is good company. Only $20. Her name is Rose and her baby is Harley, after the song by Oz group "Harley and Rose".

Trivia is about as no frills as a PlayStation game can get these days. This title offers value for money 4000 questions divided into four groups of soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey.

(There's no hiding the Essex girl in me, is there?)
and yes, the barnacle has the largest penis of the animal kingdom in relation to its body size.

oh goodness.

We went to a lovely talk by our Zoo director about the mating rituals etc of animals, and we learned this. They have peni about 18 times the size of their bodies and to mate they kinda toss their peni around and see who they can hit.

That fact alone can stop a conversation at a club short.

Asking people to imagine the club where all the human men do that will change their lives forever.

Bop. Bop. Bop.
