Uh, perhaps mundane, but if it is untestable then there is no need to discuss it at all. You are welcome to state your opinion, but then that's the end of it, true of much if not all of philosophy.

Nonsense. God is not testable. But I can certainly determine the most likely scenario based on inference. Otherwise I would be an agnostic rather than an atheist. I am not sure what I have stumbled into here, but where I come from not everything is metaphysical. True, I have stated an opinion and both of you have responded that I have stated an opinion (thank you). But brushing aside the thought gets us nowhere. The topic, after all, is "free will". I am suggesting that biology and science in general may be giving us an insight into the most probable scenario even though it cannot be tested. But your taciturn approach does not further the discussion of free will one iota. Sometimes the obvious is best left unsaid.
